Job Description:
All staff members at Multicare Yakima Memorial must be in

ROLE SUMMARY
The Director of Practice Operations has the primary responsibility
for delivering business value through the development, planning,
and implementation of strategic initiatives for Clinic business,
including all new lines of business and other matters which are
related to the organizations strategic plan. In partnership with
the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and other leaders, is responsible
for ensuring the long-term position of MYMH Clinics and services in
our communities.
Additionally, provides leadership to assigned clinics as well as
for the management of the center's healthcare delivery systems,
program planning, daily operations, implementation of policy, staff
supervision, fiscal management, and ongoing evaluations at
designated facilities. Collaborates across the Multicare Yakima
Memorial health system and the community to ensure best practices
are implemented.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
Collaborates with MYMH leaders across the organization to ensure
effective business operations and communication. Spreads insight
across the genba as it relates to financial and operational
functions.
Completes required MYMH training
Plans and develops strategies that drive and align system level
initiatives.
Works with MYMH leaders and individual departments on their
contribution and alignment with strategic and/or business
development plans on a regular basis, maintaining accountability
for achieving set plans.
Leads and facilitates new business opportunities, regularly updates
alignment of key business operations with the strategic plan, and
prepares for strategic and operational reviews.
Anticipates and delivers reliable, highly actionable SLT reporting
using dashboards, metrics, and other indicators, as
appropriate.
Works with MYMH and MYMH leaders to create to drive growth,
coordinates new program implementations, develops strategic
objectives, and reviews business development opportunities by
utilizing a data driven approach that will support the growth needs
per each market and consumer's needs compared with demographic
reviews, changes in the healthcare environment, and community
trends.
Facilitates business cases for new acquisitions, affiliations, and
partnerships in conjunction with SLT leadership.
Practice Operations
1. Partners with Providers and assists Provider leadership staff in
developing and implementing the strategic long and short-term goals
of individual clinics.
2. Forecasts and prepares annual budget and financial statements.
Ensures achievement of annual budget goals by ongoing review of
resource allocations, operational plans, and policies.
Ensures clinic compliance with state and federal regulations and
industry requirements.
Ensures operational concerns are resolved and maintains open lines
of communication with staff to ensure high productivity.
Ensures that clinic operations are being overseen and conducted in
accordance with the policies and procedures established by the
organization. Enforces organizational policies and procedures.
Coordinates and integrates policies and procedures that guide and
support the provision of services.
Conducts staffing in such a manner to meet patient demand for all
internal and external contractual agreements.
Develops and implements the necessary organizational performance
measures and monitors operational functions.
Works in conjunction with Human Resources on interviewing,
training, onboarding, transfers, promotions and employee relation
concerns.
Coaches direct report leadership to have intentional developmental
and/or performance discussions with their team. Demonstrates
ability to give and receive feedback in a professional and
constructive manner.
Owns their own mistakes/problems and demonstrates leadership in
stepping up to lead through it and to a solution.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Healthcare
Administration required.
Experience: Minimum five years of directly related experience
required. Minimum of five years of leadership experience
required.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Valid driver's license and
proof of automobile insurance required.
