• Stable company!Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Non-Profit Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our non-profit organization. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our mission-driven work.Responsibilities:1. Financial Reporting: You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You will analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.2. Budgeting and Forecasting: You will work closely with program managers to develop and monitor program budgets. You will assist in the preparation of annual budgets and provide financial projections to support strategic planning.3. Approving Invoices and Expenses: You will review and approve invoices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. You will also oversee expense management, ensuring proper coding and documentation.4. Non-Profit Cost Accounting/Allocation: You will develop and implement cost accounting and allocation methodologies to accurately track and allocate costs across programs and departments. You will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.5. Financial Controls and Compliance: You will establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. You will coordinate audits and assist with the implementation of audit recommendations.6. Cash Flow Management: You will monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships. You will develop cash flow projections and recommend strategies to optimize cash utilization.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.2. Two plus years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in a non-profit organization.3. Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and non-profit accounting principles.4. Experience with approving invoices and managing expenses.5. Proficient in program budgeting and chart of accounts management.6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.10. Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.11. Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.12.
