Job Description:

The Home2 Suites by Hilton Yakima, opening Spring 2019, is searching for a Front Office Manager to direct and supervise the operational activities of the Front Desk and lobby by providing all guests with quality service throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.The Home2 Suites is a new extended stay hotel, boasting 107 guest rooms. Under development, it is projected to open in the Spring of 2019 and will feature one-bedroom studio rooms with kitchenettes. The property is situated in Rainier Square and adjacent to vibrant restaurants, retail and commercial businesses, the Yakima airport and SOZO sports complex.Essential Responsibilities and Duties:Ensure all guests receive a warm and friendly, efficient check-in and check-out experience.Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, amenities, and local interests.--Conduct routine inspections of the front desk and public areas to reflect a welcoming environment for our guests.--Manage the Front Office team by modeling, empowering, and coaching throughout the employment lifecycle.--Respond to guest complaints with confidence, grace and action appropriate to the situation.Must have the ability to remain calm and alert, especially during emergency and/or heavy hotel activity.Communicates with other departments to ensure proper responses to guest and group needs.--The Home2 Suites is part of The Hotel Group portfolio, a legacy hotel company established in 1984, operating approximately 15 unique hotels with opportunities for career growth and advancement.What Do We Offer?Competitive CompensationMedical/Dental/VisionPaid Sick and VacationPaid Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program6 Paid HolidaysCareer Growth Opportunities/ Manager Training ProgramA Team Driven CultureReduced Room Rates throughout the Hilton portfolioWho Are We Looking For?A minimum of two years customer service supervisory experience. Prior hotel experience required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High School Diploma or equivalent required.
