REQUIREMENTS:
*High School diploma or equivalent
*Minimum one (1) year related experience
*Experience teaching adult learners
*Group facilitation skills
*Intermediate level computer capabilities in use of databases, web-based environments, work processing, email, and spreadsheets(will be tested)
*Must be at least 21 years of age to gain access to Correctional Facilities

PEREFERENCE:
*Work experience in non-profit, and/or criminal justice, social and human service, preferred not required.

JOB DUTIES:
*As a Facilitator and Coach, you will work with people who are incarcerated in Eastern Oregon
*Deliver parenting skill building and cognitive behavioral programs to adults in custody
*Facilitate participants' understanding of the program materials and development of pro-social skills and behavior
*Encourage and evaluate participant progress
*Role model appropriate thinking, choices, and behavior
*Plan, review, and prepare materials for the facilitation of classes
*Communicate and work with the team for professional development and to ensure continuous growth and improvement.
*Attend trainings, staff meetings and participate in group observations, feedback sessions, and individual coaching.
*Substitute in classes and facilitate support groups, as needed.
*Continually increase the level of cultural sensitivity, awareness, and competency in all professional interactions.

HOURS:
*Monday to Friday, however evening and weekend work is required as needed
*Travel may be required between worksite locations across the State of Oregon, which may require an overnight stay

PAY:
*$1,000 sign on bonus
*$18.36 - $19.41 Per Hour, Depending on Experience
