active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy

therapy expertise are invited to take on a rewarding school-based
contract opportunity located in Kennewick, WA, serving a diverse
student population from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role
primarily involves delivering individualized 1:1 therapy sessions
while also conducting evaluations to support student progress and
well-being. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct 1:1 physical
therapy services tailored to the unique needs of approximately 24
students across K-12 grade levels. Conduct thorough evaluations to
assess student needs and inform therapy plans. Complete indirect
work including writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs),
developing accommodation plans, and managing required
documentation. Participate in Medicaid billing processes to ensure
compliant and timely submission of services rendered. Collaborate
as part of a multidisciplinary team where teachers often serve as
case managers; support case management activities as needed. Adapt
to a district environment with some transient student population
while maintaining consistency in therapeutic support.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid license or
certification in physical therapy with experience in school-based
settings. Proficiency in conducting both therapy and evaluations
within educational environments. Skilled in writing IEPs and
managing related documentation and accommodation programming.
Familiarity with Medicaid billing and referral procedures. Strong
communication and teamwork skills to partner effectively with
educators, families, and other professionals. Ability to support a
transient student population and contribute to continuity of care.
