offer opportunities for a Hand Finisher to join our Fabrication
team in Auburn and Puyallup, Washington. As a Hand Finisher, you
will be at the forefront of our manufacturing process, where your
craftsmanship will directly impact the performance and safety of
our aircraft components. This role requires a keen eye for detail

refine and perfect each part. Your ability to interpret engineering
specifications and apply hand finishing techniques will be crucial
in achieving the desired tolerances and finishes. Collaborating

excellence in aviation. Position Responsibilities - Perform hand
finishing of milled spars, spar caps, skins, and small sheet metal
parts to specified tolerances and finishes. - Use a variety of
tools, including files, scrapers, saws, abrasives, and power
sanding machines, to remove machine marks and blemishes. - Complete
and fair machined contours and surfaces, forming specified radii
and chamfers on edges. - Check own work for conformance to
specifications and ensure quality standards are met. - Remove burrs
and break edges on parts to enhance safety and finish quality. -
Handle and rack spar caps, parts, and materials efficiently within
the work area. - Use shop handling equipment as required to manage
materials and parts safely. - Assist higher classified employees in
machining and finishing spar cap material and detailed parts. -
Review the work area to determine tasks and obtain job assignments
from the Team Leader or lead. - Read and interpret manufacturing
plans and engineering drawings to understand the scope of work. -
Break sharp edges of parts prior to hydroform and stretch
operations to prevent cracking. - Use air-powered hand sanders to
eliminate machining marks and surface irregularities. - Clean
surfaces using solvents or water, ensuring they are wiped dry
before further processing. - Utilize hand-held power tools with
rotary files, abrasive wheels, and sanding discs to finish edges
and contours. - Contact the Team Leader, supervisor, or co-worker
when assistance is needed or when problems arise. Physical Demands
and Potential Hazards: - Perform physical tasks that include
lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs. - Engage in
various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting,
lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling,
crouching, and squatting. - Work in environments that may involve
contact with metals, solvents, and coolants. - Operate in proximity
to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping
hazards. - Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric
conditions. - Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes,
hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties. This position is
expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required
to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position
must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US
Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person”
includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Basic Qualifications - 1 years of experience using hand tools
and/or hand-held power tools - 1 years of experience handling
chemicals and/or hazardous materials. - Must be able to lift, push
and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift. - 1
years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Willingness to support other locations
if asked Typical Education & Experience: High school graduate or
GED preferred. Relocation: - Relocation assistance is not a

Association of Machinists (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining
agreement. Shift Work Statement: - This position is for 2nd shift
