The General Manager is responsible for continually focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and developing employees, while maintaining the integrity of the hotel. The General Manager position will be viewed as a key role for the development of the staff and is considered an integral part of the overall financial success and guest satisfaction of the hotel. Generating profit to meet or exceed budget while focusing on top line revenue goals and cost containment that continually meets or exceeds operating standards are equal parts of the General Manager's responsibility as well as knowing and participating in the daily operation of each department within the hotel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, personal initiative, and determination, be able to drive sales and exceed expectations of both team members and guests. We are looking for an experienced candidate with a proven track record of successfully managing a hotel's overall operation.

Lincoln Asset Management offers:

Ideal General Manager Candidates will meet the following requirements:

--- Two or more years of hotel management experience.
--- Customer service oriented, 100% committed to exceptional guest services through pleasant and professional interactions at all times to maintain a positive guest and associate environment.
--- Ability to plan, organize and direct all hotel functions, including hiring, terminating and scheduling of staff to maintain adequate staffing, ordering of supplies, ability to oversee preventative maintenance and maintain an efficient and organized back of house.
--- Ability to manage and train all staff of the hotel by working alongside your staff in all positions. Manages through a "hands on" approach to be available to fill in where a need arises.

--- Good communication skills and the ability to discipline and hold others accountable when necessary.
--- Experience in rate management and meeting budgeting goals a plus.
--- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), good use of email etiquette and written communication skills.

This position requires flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation and will require you to work all shifts as needed, including night audit, swing, weekends, holidays, and require you to be on call for emergencies. Regular attendance and punctuality is a requirement of the position. The General Manager must maintain a valid driver's license and motor vehicle liability insurance and have a car to run errands.
