A great leadership position is currently available for a Director of Quality and Safety at an established community hospital in Oregon. A qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree and experience successfully leading a Quality or Risk Management Department.The Director of Quality and Safety will join a community hospital that has spent over 100 years dedicated to providing optimal healthcare to its patients. This thriving community hospital has since expanded and provides many inpatient and outpatient services. These include emergency services, a birthing center, behavioral health, home health, and more. The Director of Quality and Safety will report to the VP of Acute Care Services. The Director will work closely with other department leaders and C-suite executives in order to remain up-to-date with each department and assess any risks. The Director will be supported by a Quality and Risk Manager and an Infection Preventionist who will assist in performing analysis and reporting data. The Director of Quality and Safety will have the opportunity to direct patient safety, performance improvement, and risk management by coordinating activities related to clinical performance. As Director, this person will also be able to serve as an educator and internal consultant to all hospital leadership and staff for analytical techniques, statistical applications, and performance improvement tools. This person must also be skilled in facilitation RCA, FMEA, and other root cause and effect-related tools. You will surely have a calm and relaxed quality of life as the Director of Quality and Safety with the hospital located in Northeastern Oregon.
