Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) program.The nurse provides
evidence-based comprehensive home visiting services to first time
moms during pregnancy and for 2 years after the baby's birth. The
nurse is instrumental in transforming the lives of families in our
community by implementing and maintaining fidelity to the NFP
model. Our goal is for children, families, and communities to be
healthy and prosper.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing with course work in
public health preferred, Associates Degree in Nursing with two
years experience in parent-child nursing.
Experience: Experience in newborn physical exams. Must be able to
work a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Current applicable State RN
licensure and a current Washington State driver's license and proof
of automobile liability insurance coverage; CPR certification.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Bilingual in English/Spanish
required, must demonstrate the ability to communicate at level 10
on the ALTA language proficiency scale. Knowledge of and skill in
using therapeutic communication techniques.About YVFWCWe serve more
