BC/BE IM Hospitalist- Sunny Pacific Northwest!Yakima Valley
Memorial (YVM) is actively recruiting a Hospitalist to join their
team of more than 20 hospital-employed B/C internal medicine
hospitalists, our Memorial Inpatient Physician Service (MIPS). The
MIPS team works directly with physician and administrative
leadership on quality and operational improvements. Many of our
hospitalists participate in leadership committees and system-level
work. The MIPS team has a strong culture of helping each other and
working well with other groups. The hospital has approximately 225
beds, including 130 Med/Surg beds with remote telemetry available,
a 12-bed ICU, and an 18-bed Med/Psych unit. On any given day, the
MIPS team covers 1/2 to 2/3rds of the adult non-OB census. ---
Flexible scheduling makes work-life balance possible --- 10hr day
shifts with an average of 13-14 encounters per day --- Full-time is
1800 hours per year; 150 hours per month --- Semi-open ICU and core

Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (MD or DO); completion
of and ACGME or AOA accredited residency training program in
Internal Medicine --- BC/BE in Internal Medicine by the ABIM or the
AOBIM --- Washington State Medical License or Licensure
