Job Description:
MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital (MYMH), a not-for-profit,
community hospital in Yakima, WA is seeking a full-time dynamic
BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician. The incoming physician will
join our current Infectious Disease physicians and will enjoy light
call, a team of more than 20 Board Certified Internal Medicine
Hospitalists at MYMH, a great work-life balance, and endless
outdoor opportunities to name a few. We offer a comprehensive

starts on the first day of employment. What we have to offer:
- Opportunity for further program development and teaching.
- 100% ID consultation inpatient and outpatient
- Inpatient census averages 15-18 patients per day, typically 2-4
consults
- Full Time, Dayshift from 8am - 5pm
- Outpatient schedule: Monday-Thursday; admin day on Friday
- 2:1 call schedule with very few after hours pages
- High-functioning antibiotic stewardship program with dedicated
pharmD, directed by ID service
- Well-established outpatient infusion center/OPAT overseen by ID
physician
- Mountain West AETC training site
- 3rd/4th year medical student and family medicine resident
rotations
- Opportunity (if selected) for the following:
- to practice at the Yakima area HIV clinic; 4 BSN MPH HIV
certified bilingual nurses
- UW clinical faculty appointment
- advanced practice UW 4th year medical student rotation What you
will need:
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (MD or DO);
completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited fellowship training
program in Infectious Disease
- BC/BE Infectious Diseases by the ABIM or the AOA
- Washington State Medical License or eligibility for licensure;
DEA registered in WA State
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Providers, certification by
