Job Description A Yakima based client is seeking an experienced Physician to provide excellent primary care services to patients of all ages, but especially the geriatric population. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment, is comfortable supervising nursing staff, and practices evidence-based, patient-centered care Required Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
• Current Washington state medical license
• Completed an accredited residency program
• Current DEA certificate
• Board certified preferably in geriatric medicine
• Current CPR certification Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience working with medically underserved populations Responsibilities
    • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in adults and older adults
    • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
    • Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
    • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
    • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
