Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy Unit - Kadlec Regional
Medical Center Richland, WA Kadlec is offering a $15,000 Hiring
Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for
payment. This is a combined posting for a Respiratory Care
Practitioners and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioners. The
requirements of each role are listed below under each associated
title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications.

we encourage you to apply. Under the direction of the leadership of
Respiratory Therapy services, the Respiratory Therapist is
responsible to see that all treatments/procedures are carried out
according to the provider orders. Respiratory therapy operates
within all areas of the medical center and assignments will be made
based on skills and abilities. Care is provided in areas of the
medical center, including but not limited to NICU, Adult ICU,
Emergency Department, Birth Center and general medicine.
Respiratory Therapists may also work in the outpatient pulmonary
rehab area, as well. Pulmonary Function Lab operates as a separate
entity and requires additional specialized training. Under the
direction of the Respiratory Therapy department leadership, the
Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner maintains standards of
professional respiratory care and performs related duties as
assigned. Performs all duties of staff RT and acts as a resource to
other staff members. May train or communicate instructions to other
employees and inspect work to separate acceptable work from
unacceptable. Does not hire, fire, discipline, promote, demote,
transfer, or appraise performance. Providence caregivers are not

them. Respiratory Care Practitioner Shift details: Full-time, 0.9
FTE (36 working hours per week), variable shift. Required
qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required
upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required
upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association is required
within 90 days of hire
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association is required
within 90 days of hire Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited
educational institution
- 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience in an acute
care medical setting. Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner Shift
details: Full-time, 0.9 FTE (36 working hours per week), variable
shift. Required qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required

- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required

- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association is required
within 90 days of hire
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association is required
within 90 days of hire
- 2 years of Respiratory care practitioner experience in an acute
care medical setting. Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited
educational institution.
- Recent NICU, adult CCU and open heart experience. Salary Range
