Job Title: RN Circulator Profession: RN Specialty: Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years as RN Circulator License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC preferred Must-Have: - 2-3 years experience as RN Circulator - Ability to perform pre, intra-op, and post-op duties - Occasional nights and weekends due to emergency/trauma Description: General job duties include serving as an RN Circulator for general surgery procedures. The position may involve working with computerized charting and medication systems. Candidates should possess strong skills in an operating room environment. Orientation and training will be provided, with specific focus on department protocols. Candidates must be prepared to work in a sterile field and maintain appropriate dress code. Floating to other departments is not required. The nurse to patient ratio specifics for this unit are not applicable. Candidates are expected to handle emergency situations as they arise.
