$2,327 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years License: Registered
Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have
Skills/Experience: EKG/Cardiac Monitoring Respiratory assessment
and support Medication titration Description: This position is for
a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit. The unit consists
of 16 private rooms. Patient ratios are 1:4 with accommodations of
1:3 for higher acuity patients. The patient population includes
geriatric and adult patients. Common diagnoses treated include ETOH
detox, post-PCI, DKA/HHS, cardiac, GI, and BIPAP. The role requires
a strong ability to assess and provide support to patients with
respiratory needs. Nurses are expected to have experience in EKG
and cardiac monitoring. The environment is a teaching hospital,
providing various medical services. Weekend shifts of two per pay
period are required. Call requirements are part of the position.
