Job Description Mental Health Counselor Location: Yakima, WA Schedule: Full-Time Salary: $33.55–$45.60/hr $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Role Highlights Provide individual, family, and group therapy services Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans Utilize trauma-informed, culturally responsive care approaches Support clients with coping skills, recovery goals, and stability Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation (HIPAA/WAC) Participate in trainings, supervision, and clinical meetings Requirements Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Family Therapy Active WA license: LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, LMSW, or MHP (per WAC) Experience in mental/behavioral health required Knowledge of substance use disorders, ASAM criteria preferred Strong communication, documentation, and clinical judgment skills Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life & supplemental insurance 401(k) with employer match Health savings & flexible spending accounts Generous PTO & paid holidays
