Ideal for physicians seeking flexible coverage with a focus on quality patient care, this position combines weekday clinic duties with on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends, ensuring comprehensive obstetric services are maintained around the clock. Required Skills: MD or DO degree with Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB experience Valid medical license to practice in Oregon Active DEA license and certifications as required Proven ability to manage obstetric emergencies and work efficiently in a hospital setting Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with hospital staff and patients Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience as a hospitalist or in a similar locum tenens capacity Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital protocols Advanced training in maternal-fetal medicine Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice experience in a hospital setting Experience working in rural or underserved areas is a plus Other Requirements: Shift coverage of 20 shifts per month, primarily 24-hour on-call shifts Shift start date: December 1, 2025 Must be willing to work weekdays with clinic duties and on-call coverage during nights and weekends Ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases and emergencies Travel reimbursement and licensure fees covered when applicable This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed team providing 24/7 obstetric care in Pendleton, OR.
