Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology/Cardiology Radiologic
Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Radiologic
Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 15:00 Hours per
Shift: 36 Experience: At least three years in Interventional
Radiology or Cath Lab managing fluoroscopy and scrubbing
interventional cases. License: Current state licensure issued by
the appropriate board. Certifications: ARRT certification, RT(R).
Current BLS, ACLS certification (or within 6 months of hire).
Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology
program. Description: The Interventional Radiology/Cardiology
Radiologic Technologist supports diagnostic and interventional
procedures through expert operation of fluoroscopic imaging
equipment, sterile technique, and procedural workflow coordination.
This role works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the
interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality
patient care. The technologist demonstrates advanced technical
competence in procedural imaging, radiation safety, sterile field
maintenance, and hemodynamic monitoring while adhering to
departmental protocols and regulatory standards. Exercises
professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains
a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate
patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for
successful completion of the procedure. The Interventional Rad Tech
is responsible to the Unit Manager and Surgical Services Director.
Ability to provide care for patients’ age-specific, cultural,
physical, and psychosocial wellbeing. Ability to work with
culturally diverse patient conditions essential for successful
completion of the procedure. Certifications specific to areas of
clinical specialty are preferred (e.g., RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale).
Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking is preferred. Holiday
