Position Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - OB Hospitalist in
Pendleton, OR Are you a dedicated obstetrician seeking a rewarding
locum position that combines professional growth with a vibrant
community setting? We invite qualified OB Hospitalists to provide
exceptional care in Pendleton, Oregon, a charming city located
approximately 200 miles east of Portland. This vital role offers a
unique opportunity to support maternal health services while
enjoying the scenic and welcoming environment of Eastern Oregon.
Start date: December 1, 2025. This position involves working 20
shifts per month, each consisting of a 24-hour schedule. Shifts
include clinic duties during weekdays, followed by on-call
responsibilities for the remainder of the day. Weekend shifts are
on-call only, providing flexibility alongside a meaningful impact
on patient care. Required Skills: MD or DO license in Oregon or
eligibility to obtainlicensure Board-certified or eligible in
Obstetrics and Gynecology Proven experience in hospitalist or OB
labor and delivery settings Ability to perform under pressure in a
high-stakes clinical environment Strong communication and teamwork
skills Flexibility and adaptability to shift schedules Nice to Have
Skills: Experience in rural or community hospital settings
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Bilingual
abilities in English and Spanish Preferred Education and
Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited
institution Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in OB
hospitalist roles Current Oregon medical license or eligibility
Other Requirements: Valid OB/GYN board certification or active
BE/BC status Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Ability to travel to
Pendleton, OR, as needed Willingness to participate in on-call
shifts and weekend coverage This position offers a highly
competitive hourly pay rate of $214.50, along with weekly pay via
