This full-time opportunity is designed for experienced providers eager to make a tangible impact in a hospital-based setting, covering a critical gap from April 24 to July 18, 2026. As a key member of our team, you will provide advanced patient care, assist in cardiac surgeries, and support inpatient and outpatient services, ensuring seamless continuity of care for our patients. Required Skills: Valid Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure with specialization or significant experience in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic care Proven experience in surgical first assisting, preferably in cardiac or thoracic procedures Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities Flexibility to handle call responsibilities and adapt to a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Skills: Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Prior experience in hospital-based emergency or ICU settings Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems specific to cardiovascular care Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic settings, including surgical assisting Prior experience covering hospital call rotations Other Requirements: Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and nights Willingness to participate in on-call duties, including inpatient rounding and first assist callbacks Please note, OT will be applicable after 40 clinical hours per week Valid state licensure, certifications, and compliance with all healthcare regulations Successful completion of background check and credentialing processes This role offers competitive hourly pay at $1.00/hr, with weekly direct deposit payments.
