Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Yakima, WA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,898 to $2,092 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Thrive Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Yakima, Washington, 98902! Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU City/State: Yakima, Washington Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00 Contract Length: 12.00 weeks Start Date: 03/09/2026 Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the ICU will provide care for various patient types, including those with CHF, respiratory distress, and post-cath interventions. The role involves the use of chest tubes, wound vacs, and monitoring of femoral arterial sheaths. Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to ICU patients with conditions such as CHF, ACS, and A-fib RVR. Administer blood products and manage drips such as diltiazem and Lasix. Monitor and care for post-cath patients, including TR bands and femoral sheath observations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in floating to Telemetry, Tele, Med-Surg, and Neurology-Medical as needed. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Completed at least 1 travel assignment. Proficiency in handling chest tubes, wound vacs, and arterial lines; experience with Art line, Impella, and/or IABP is preferred. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
