skilled General Surgeon seeking a rewarding locum opportunity in
the beautiful Pacific Northwest? A well-established acute care
hospital in Pendleton, OR is seeking Board-Certified General
Surgeon for a long-term locum assignment (up to 1 year) with a
structured block schedule and strong support staff. Enjoy a
balanced mix of clinic, OR, and call coverage while practicing in a
welcoming community setting with comprehensive support Position
Overview Setting: Acute Care Hospital Outpatient Clinic Coverage
Need: Up to 1 year Schedule: 7–10 day block schedule Clinic:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Call: 24-hour call while on
assignment (5:30 AM – 5:30 AM) Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
(temporary privileges available) Providers on Site: 1 General
Surgeon at a time EMR: Meditech (hospital) & eClinicalWorks
(clinic) Reason for Coverage: Retirement Practice Details ~500
surgeries annually (?10/week) 75% outpatient procedures ~2
inpatient admissions per week 14–16 clinic patients per day OR
block time throughout the week Full hospital and clinic support
staff Must respond to ED traumas Physicians are expected to
practice as integrated members of the medical staff Required
Procedures Diagnostic & Screening Colonoscopies Cholecystectomy
Hernia Repair (with mesh) Diagnostic EGD Appendectomy
Hemorrhoidectomy Breast Excision Abdominal Wall Repair (synthetic
substitute) Skin Excision ?? Travel & Lodging Complimentary travel
and lodging provided Requirements Board Certified Active Oregon
License (May/June start accepted if OR license is in process)
Residency/Fellowship ACLS, BLS, DEA NPDB Self-Query (dated within
