Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Moses Lake, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,997 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments License: Current RN Licensure Certifications: HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS required within 30 days of hire Must-Have: Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred. Critical thinking skills are essential. Demonstrates accountability and practices within legal and ethical guidelines. Ability to care for patients across the age continuum. Description: This position is responsible for functioning as both a caregiver and care manager. In the caregiver role, the RN assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame implementing the Nursing Process. In the role of care manager, the RN directs and oversees the work of other caregivers via delegation, coordination, supervision, and validation/evaluation of patient care outcomes. The individual in this position will be required to understand the purpose and operation of Patient Care Services. The RN must be able to make decisions based on sound judgment when a situation dictates. Essential Functions include: Performing assessment/data collection, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status. Implementing care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner by adhering to pre-determined procedures, policies, and care plans. Identifying patient learning needs and implementing patient teaching as defined by policy and care plans. Documenting in the patient’s chart, per policy and in accordance with all regulatory requirements. Demonstrating awareness and sensitivity to patient and family rights, regardless of any classification protected by law. Demonstrating appropriate delegation of patient care activities and effectively supervising assigned coworkers. Utilizing sound critical thinking for effective organization and priority setting. May be required to function as a Charge Nurse, including delegation of patient assignments and coordination of staff coverage. Maintaining professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations. Ensuring compliance with safety requirements, security, infection control, and safe body mechanics. Conducting self in a professional manner and ensuring personal appearance meets necessary standards. Physical requirements include: Frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and perform CPR as necessary. Keen mental faculties to perform assessment and decision-making skills in the management of acutely ill patients. Good reading eyesight and emotional stability to handle high-stress conditions.
