TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Yakima, Washington. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/04/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel SIMPLI FI CLINICAL INTERVIEWS Units: PICU - Must have recent PICU exp. within the last year. Experience Required: 2 years. Will consider a 1st time traveler. Prefer EPIC exp. Level II trauma Center. Active WA/Compact license. Certs Required: BLS, PALS. Ability to pass Traveler Tele Comp, strong assessment skills, quick learner, critical thinker, have good time management, be engaging; knowledgeable on: aseptic and sterile techniques, basic dressing changes, ventilator and trach management, suctioning, g-tube/j-tube management, feeding tubes, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, drip management, Foley insertion and management, discharge skills, CRRT experience with Prismax preferred. Floating: MedSurg, NICU (low acuity) , or ED – Helping hands Patient Types: Respiratory patients (high flow, CPAP, BiPAP), trachs, chemo, RSV, asthma, Covid; Medical: MIS-C, new onset diabetes with insulin drips, chronically ill, oncology; Trauma (falls, MVAs, etc.); Surgical – appys, g-tubes, ENT, fresh trachs, bowel obstructions, broken bones, VP shunts, cardiac, neuro; NO solid organ transplant, major burns, stem cell transplant; bad facial wounds, eye injuries or penetrating trauma will go to Level 1 Trauma Center- Harborview; Non – Cardiac ECMO (ECMO specialist will deal with the ECMO machine), CRRT EMR: EPIC (experience preferred) On call: only if Low Censused, response time = 1 hr 82 bed Level 2 Trauma Center with 16 PICU beds that are interchangeable between MedSurg and PICU About TNAA TotalMed RN TotalMed is a Top Ten, travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency with the mission of igniting purpose in healthcare.
