This role involves providing expert physical therapy services to students within the school setting, aiming to facilitate students' physical health and overall educational experience. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with educational staff to design and implement physical therapy interventions that support the physical development and academic success of students with various needs. Assess student needs and develop individualized physical therapy programs. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve students' functional abilities. Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student education and health goals. Maintain records and documentation in compliance with school and federal regulations. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans. Expertise in pediatric physical therapy techniques. Ability to create and follow individualized treatment plans. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Capacity to handle emotional and physical aspects of student disabilities.
