Surgical Tech Location: Walla Walla, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,171 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in surgical settings License: WA State License required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, CST Must-Have: Proficient in scrubbing ortho (total joints/trauma), general, neuro, vascular, ENT, OB/GYN (including C/S), and plastics. Experience with robotics (DaVinci) preferred but not required. Previous charge experience preferred. Travel experience required. Description: This position involves float duties between surgical units. On-call hours are required, with a commitment of 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks. Weekends will be on-call only. No block schedules are required. The expected staff-to-patient ratio is 1:1. Callback time is set at 20 minutes, and staff must remain within this timeframe while on call. 48-hour time-off requests are not approved. Key responsibilities include supporting general surgery, GYN, OB/C-sections, orthopedics, neuro-spine, plastics, urology, ENT, and eyes procedures. Candidates should have knowledge of sterilization and disinfection processes, universal protocol for time-out procedure, and equipment documentation. A comprehensive understanding of both open and laparoscopic assisted procedures is essential. Must be able to navigate emergency situations including trauma cases and various surgical complexities. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to align with unit needs. All travelers are expected to float within the facility as required. References from supervisory roles covering a total of 1 year within the last three years are mandatory for submission.
