Orthopedic Surgery Physician - Locum Tenens in Walla Walla, Washington

Orthopedic Surgery Physician needed for a locum tenens opportunity in Walla Walla, WA. This on-site inpatient orthopedic surgery job offers call coverage across select dates from July through August. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,980-$7,480
• Location: Walla Walla, Washington
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Orthopedic Surgery
• Start Date: 7/3/2026
• End Date: 8/31/2026
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks
• Schedule Type: Call coverage with rotating shifts
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Rotating
• Call Details: 24 Hour Beeper Call; 24 hour call, 7a-7a on assigned coverage dates
• Coverage Dates: July 3-5, 29; August 5, 10, 18-19, 25-31
• Patient Volume: Approximately 2-4 patients per shift
• Trauma Level: Level 3

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Washington medical license or IMLC eligibility
• DEA required
• Fellowship training required
• Ability to meet credentialing requirements within approximately 30 days
• Experience with arthroscopy required
• Experience with total joint replacement required, including hip and knee procedures
• Hand surgery experience preferred
• Tendon release and repair experience preferred

• Provide orthopedic surgery inpatient call coverage for assigned dates
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic patients in the inpatient setting
• Perform orthopedic procedures, including arthroscopy and total joint replacement of the hip and knee
• Collaborate with hospital staff and interdisciplinary teams to support quality patient outcomes
• Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and procedural care accurately and efficiently
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the clinical environment
