You'll not only be working with one of the world's iconic hotel brands, but also with a great team.Job Description:Greets and completes standard check-in procedures for arriving guests daily, using both manual and computerized methods ensuring guest satisfactionCourteously answers inquiries and accepts reservations, in person, through email and telephone calls, and help guests with directions and area activitiesControls and records financial transactions a front deskMaintains good customer relations by staying informed of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person and on telephoneMaintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all timesPerforms other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by managementContributes and maintains established information and communication sources such as department and front desk log books to enhance department communications and operationsAids other associates and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotelEnsure safety by following the safety and sanitation procedures and reporting suspicious activity to managementPreferred Skills:Strong Computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeAbility to type 40+wpmAble to learn new web applicationsAt least one year of experience in hotel customer service or accounting preferredStrong work ethicAble to stand for extended periods of timeAble to lift up-to 20 lbs.Must be able to work weekends and holidaysBenefits:--Medical--and dental offered after a qualification periodVacation time accrued based on hours worked--Washington State Paid Sick Leave--Job Posted by ApplicantPro
