Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing
solutions, is seeking a Data Center Chief Engineer to lead our data
center operations ensuring the highest levels of reliability and
efficiency. This role involves overseeing the operation,
maintenance, and procedures of our data center facilities. The
successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle
management of AWS's physical infrastructure and ensure operational
excellence in a fast-paced environment. Oversee daily data center
operations, ensuring compliance with all safety, operation, and
maintenance policies. Manage the installation, maintenance, and
repair of infrastructure including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC
systems. Develop and implement innovative processes to improve
reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the data center.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and mitigate
data center issues. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers
and technicians. Conduct regular system audits, prepare incident
reports, and provide technical guidance for complex challenges.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and IT
infrastructure. Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience in project management and budgeting. Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency with data center
infrastructure management (DCIM) tools. Medical Insurance Dental

Centre Expert (CDCE) Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification - desirable.
