Twitter. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE The QA/QC Lead
will carry out with limited supervisor, quality analysis and
control for production of shortcut, cello, food service, and frozen
production.Daily audits of QA/QC technicians' procedures including;
verification of code dates, scales, water levels, plant GMP's, and
documentationSample collection, operation of scales, data
entryServe as a QA/QC Technician backup, when necessary. Perform
weekly QA lab supply inventory.Perform label verification
procedures. Perform Carrot receiving quality checks.Monitoring and
Recording of facility PC (Preventive Controls) and CCPs (Critical
Control Points)Grading defects of carrots. Assist Food Safety
Manager with facility trainings.Complete weekly product retains
sample checks and data recording Daily check and scanning of all
COVID required document controlDaily check of quality shift
documents.Analytical testing of raw and finished products as well
as processing water and equipmentExamine product retain shelf life
samples; aid manager in evaluation of shelf life dataOperate,
calibrate and maintain equipment (scales, thermometers, hydrocooler
monitors, etc.) routinelyCollect and ship sales sample
requestsComplete certificate of analysis (COA's) per customer
requestsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: Must follow
Bolthouse Farms standard operating procedures to prepare and/or
analyze various parameters including good laboratory practices and
aseptic techniquesProficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, and
WordAbility to work with minimal supervision High School Diploma or
equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and
experienceProven, reliable, work history Additional Required
Qualifications: Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)Physical
Demands: Environmental exposure -cold/wet conditions (40 - or
below)Material exposure-moving mechanical partsOccasional exposure
to fumes, airborne particles and vibrationsRequired to climb
stairwaysMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand
and walk for an extended period of time during the work
