Job Description:
YVFWC has a compulsory vaccination policy including the Covid-19
primary series, the organization does not mandate the Covid-19
booster although it is offered through our employee health
department. Medical and religious exemptions to the primary series
will be considered and for those approved, the employee should
anticipate following appropriate guidance around masking and other
protective equipment offered.
Supports the Planning and Development department activities related
to private and government funded grants and awards. Assists with
the preparation of funding applications, creation of program
reports to sustain grant funding, and internal communication
regarding the status and progress of grants and awards.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties
- Coordinates with Program Directors, project leaders, and the
Planning & Development (P&D) team in the creation of government
and private funded proposals. Completes local/state/federal compete
and non-compete proposals and applications with assistance. Revises
documents based on feedback and line notes received from editors.
Utilizes trustworthy and valid sources of data and ensures all
written work is authentic and original.
- Conducts data research, interviews and analysis on intended
topics to thoroughly gain vital background information and further
knowledge to support grants and other project deliverables.
- Develops needs assessment and market analysis to understand
organizational market penetrations rates.
- Serves as a liaison between program staff to manage the
proposal completion and timeline to ensure timely submission of the
grant application and all required materials.
- Maintains and organizes electronic collections of Planning &
Development work products and ensures all files are updated and
posted.
- Completes progress and performance reports in support of
grant-funded programs and projects.
- Develops communication and formal presentations on selected
topics of interest to YVFWC for dissemination to peers, department,
and other organizational leaders.
- Assists with program evaluations for minor grant projects to
include outcome and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Administration,
Communication, Social Sciences, Political Science or
Psychology.
- Experience: One year's experience working in a job that
includes verbal and written communication, as well as development
and interpretation of analytics. One year of work experience in the
healthcare field preferred.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to prioritize work, handle
a variety of tasks simultaneously, and complete projects with
inflexible deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent written communication skills. Strong online research
skills. Ability to analyze and interpret health and demographic
data. Basic proficiency with a variety of computer programs
including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Basic
proficiency with programs like MS Access and MS MapPoint
preferred.
