Job Description:
All staff members at Yakima Valley Memorial must be in

Actual pay rate will be calculated based on relevant years of
experience and education/certification requirements.
ROLE SUMMARY
Performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and
associated interventions under the general supervision of the
Memorial Sleep Specialist Manager and/or the clinical and/or
medical director or designee. This includes polysomnography,
diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education.
This includes pediatric and adult patients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:High School diploma or GED equivalent required. All
Polysomnographer Trainees are required to attain board registration
from an accredited program within 3 years of their hire date.
Experience: Basic computer and clerical skills required. 6 months
of direct patient care experience or 1 year of post-secondary
education preferred.
Additional certifications: American Heart Association BLS required.
All Polysomnographer Trainees are required to become board
certified within 3 years of their hire date. Polysomnographer
Technicians (Non-Registered) are required to become board certified
2 years of their hire date. All techs are required to maintain and
keep current their board certifications (see addendums).
Level of Business Knowledge/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Medical
terminology/customer service experience required.
