Must have the ability to create and maintain positive relationships with our key distributor contacts and credibility as a subject matter expert on our product lines. Willing to do what it takes to achieve sales goals by presenting Radians as a solutions-based PPE company and by engaging with our distributors and manufacturers reps, and end-users to help gain market share from our competitors. Sometimes working outside of normal business hours to meet the demanding needs of our customers to offer the best possible service and to close large opportunities and complete tasks on a timely basis. If this describes you, we need to talk!Position Summary: The Industrial Sales team at Radians Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Construction Sales Manager West Coast region that is goal-oriented and develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate sales goals and margin expectations. Primary day to day responsibilities include managing all sales related activities and customer relationships of accounts within assigned account list as well as end-users in the market. Customers in this market will primarily be Independent Contractor distributors. End-users in this market will be general contractors as well as sub-contractors in the MEP and concrete segments.. Requirements:Duties/ Responsibilities: The ideal candidate must have the ability to develop & implement strategies to prospect additional distributor accounts and end user opportunities of significant volume within territory. It is expected that the manager will develop excellent relationships with all current and prospective accounts in assigned territory. The manager is expected to develop an in-depth knowledge of our product lines and those of our primary competitors.Account List: Assigned accounts within the geography of WA, OR, CA, AZ, & NV including prospective opportunities, buying group members, inactive and current Radians accounts.Qualifications/ Requirements:Bachelor's Degree preferred; 5 years territory sales experience, preferably in a safety products environment.Meet and exceed defined sales growth requirement and specific targeted sales category expectations on an ongoing basis.Prospect top potential distributors and end users not currently buying/using Radian's products.Update CRM daily with sales activities & opportunities, special pricing extended, key customer contact information as well ascompetitive information.Provide Customers with new product information, product samples, training, promotions, discontinued product information aswell as sales volume reports by category on a timely basis.Report critical customer and competitive information discovered in the field back to direct supervisor as needed.Price Exception Requests in assigned territory require Product Management approval and will be filled out and submitted bythe Regional Manager.Participation in trade shows, training events as requested and approved by Radian's supervisor.Communicate customer product requirements / forecasts to Purchasing in a timely manner to insure highest possible servicelevels.Excellent customer service/communication skills, territory account management skills, prior territory sales experience isstrongly desired.Ability to create and deliver presentations via video conferencing as well as in personMust be able to work autonomously in a remote setting.Must be willing & able to travel up to 75% of the time by car and by airSome overnight travel and occasional weekends for special events may be requiredComplete expense reporting on a weekly basisProficient in Microsoft Office; Experience with Phocas BI & CRM is a plusOther duties may be assigned.Work Environment: Walking, standing, driving, lifting objects up to 50lbs and exposure to dangerous equipment on occasion.Benefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceVision insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offFor this position, Radians Inc. offers:Compensation including Base Salary and CommissionMonthly vehicle allowancePaid Time Off (PTO) and Paid HolidaysEmployee Health, Dental, and Vision insuranceRadians, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
