About the Job We have an opening for a Lawn & Farm Technician at our Columbia River Ranch RTF program in Boardman, Oregon. This position requires general groundskeeping and landscaping experience and the ability to work with a variety of farm animals on-site. The Lawn & Farm Technician is responsible for maintaining of appearance of the facility's exterior, preparing facilities for seasonal weather conditions and keeping property to OSHA standards, maintaining lawns and fields, keeping inventory of supplies, and keeping the irrigation systems in working order. Work Schedule: Part Time (20 hours a week), variable Day shifts What You'll MakeStarting at $17.50+ per hour DOE/Credentials. About the ProgramColumbia River Ranch (est. 2005) is a mental health Residential Treatment Facility with clinical services provided by Community Counseling Solutions. The program has 11 treatment beds and 1 short term crisis resolution bed. It is located on 5 acres of working farm land just outside of Boardman, Oregon. The facility features expansive views of the Eastern Oregon farm country from its full deck. A large yard allows outdoor recreation activities, as well as enabling the barn and farm animals to enhance their rural experience. The Ranch currently has ponies, chickens, and ducks on-site. What You'll NeedThe ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, continually demonstrate professionalism and interpersonal skills with the facility administrator, staff, clients, and vendors, as well as: General groundskeeping and landscaping experienceAbility to operate standard power tools and yard equipmentsAbility to climb ladders and lift up to 60 pounds (lbs) Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver's license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
