SUNNYSIDE HOUSING AUTHORITY is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Mechanic II. This is a regular FT position performing a wide range of maintenance and repairs at multi-family residential properties in Sunnyside, Mabton and Grandview. This position requires advanced skills or certification in one or more building trades classifications, performing all manual labor necessary for maintenance-related tasks in and outside candidate's primary trade. Participates in off-shift and weekend on-call emergency maintenance coverage. Must have at least 3 years proven experience comparable to a certified journeyman level craftsman in more than one of the building trades or be a Tech graduate with a journeyman rating and certified in one or more of the trades classifications, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience to meet the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have and maintain a WSDL and safe driving record. Must have good oral and written communication skills, basic math skills, and computer skills that include the use of a PC and an IOS or Windows Tablet. Hourly wage $19.99 - $23.16, DOE.
