We are currently seeking a Plant Supply Chain Manager for our Moses Lake, Washington facility. Duties/Responsibilities: - Prepare instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures - Direct material personnel and system to receive customer orders, produce the manufacturing production schedule and material requirements planning - Direct material expediting function to ensure material is on hand to support production schedule - Direct release of manufacturing orders to the production floor - Analyze inventory position to meet company targets - Direct storage of raw materials in a clean and safe environment - Interact with production personnel regarding production scheduling - Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepare market analysis reports - Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy - Develop clerical office procedures and practices, studies workflow, sequence of operations and office arrangement to determine expediency of installing new or improved office machines - Arrange for disposal of surplus materials Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline - 5 - 7+ years of practical experience in materials, purchasing and/or logistics - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists - Ability to determine a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form - SAP/Hana experience strongly preferred We are an Affirmative Action/EEO employer.
