Description:The High Level Project Safety Adviser will support an assigned project in Central Washington state and provide safety management oversight as part of the Owner's team. The PSA will ensure best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.Responsibilities:-Oversee and ensure OSHA regulations, Microsoft Safety Performance Specifications, and AHJ standards are adhered to for a data center construction project.-Partner with the GC and the Microsoft DCD PM on contractor safety plans and ensure implementation in place for each project.-Provide review, and oversight, of construction Health & Safety management procedures (for example PTP, JHA/JSA, SPS, Lift Plans, etc.)-Attend onsite daily activity meetings, site level HRA and Safety Leadership meetings, weekly OAC meeting, and additional meetings as determined by project needs.-In partnership with the Microsoft DCD PM and Microsoft Safety oversee all subcontractors and contractors ensuring competency.-Continually encouraging, and promoting, Health & Safety initiatives aimed at influencing positive safety behavior on all projects-Collaborate with site General Contractors and Subcontractors, Microsoft employees and third-party personnel.-Complete three daily Safety observations and upload to the assigned repository.-Complete one weekly site level summarization report and upload to the assigned repository.-Complete monthly HRA audits for assigned project and upload to the assigned repository.-Collaborate with the GC and/or vendors for incidents, near misses, and hazardous conditions, follow incident notification process/protocol. Support as needed regarding incident causation analysis and follow up on corrective actions.-Proactively identifies leading indicators and trends in the field and communicates the same back to the field and Microsoft DCD PM and Safety.Minimum Qualifications:-Minimum of 7 years' experience in a safety management related role with formal qualifications in construction health and safety management-Extensive experience in contractor communications, liaising with design teams, and other project professionals-Excellent written and verbal communication skillsSkills:Safety management, OSHA regulationsTop Skills Details:Safety management, OSHA regulationsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:-Data center construction experience-Owner's Representative experienceNotes: - CO&I- Building the data centers - Need a safety manager on site - Looking for someone that has experience in this role already with some data center experience - Budget is approved - Oversee and ensure OSHA regulations, review procedures, attend daily meetings - High to moderate - Flex hours possible About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
