Technician/DAF Operator

Position Summary
- Following established policies and procedures, this position
encompasses the testing, repair, maintenance, recording of
equipment identified with the waste water operation or monitoring
of waste water stream.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities, or Job Duties-
Daily inspection and recordings
Daily cleaning and maintaining operating levels
Equipment maintenance
Sanitation
Troubleshooting and repairing
Additional Responsibilities -
Maintaining appropriate inventory levels of required chemicals and
operating supplies.
Qualifications-
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The

Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units in measure,
using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, volume, area, percent and draw /
interpret graphs.
Ability to use welder, torch, hand and power tools, etc.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Safety Requirements-
All employees are required to wear a hair net, bump cap, and ear
plugs in the production areas.
Due to oil residue in the processing area, some areas may be slick
throughout the plant.
During cleanups processing and packaging areas can be very slippery
