We aspire everyday to do quality work for our clients and help our talent work at some of the most amazing companies.*Role: Production Associate II**Location: Kent, WA**Duration: 06 Months (Extension contract)**Pay Rate: $35.00/hr. on W2 All Inclusive**A shift:: Monday - Friday 5:30am - 2:30 pm PST*Description:As a Associate - Production II, you will be part of a hardworking team of technicians, engineers, program managers and specialist, supporting the system prototyping & rapid development of different programs within our Advance Manufacturing Division.This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail and most importantly, drive to solve day to day operational challenges.If you share our passions and vision, thrive in a dynamic startup environment, excel on integrated multi-functional teams of diverse individuals, are experienced and skilled in several relevant technologies (even if perhaps not in the aerospace industry), continuously seek out opportunities to learn and improve, and do not allow title or job description to limit the depth or breadth of your contributions, then we would love to hear from you.In this role, you will be part of the Operations Support Team. Responsible for inventory control, logistics, expediting and other support functions to ensure our team have what we need to be successful with our current and future commitments.Responsibilities:Requisitioning, receiving, storing, and issuing inventory, tooling, consumables and other assets to technicians and operators.Continuously monitor and respond to technician parts needs, including replacements for non-conforming parts, delivery of fasteners and shop stock, moving assemblies to inventory or to the next work center, and other similar duties as requested.Work cross functionally to expedite any material shortages.Enter material transactions in ERP system.Process Scrap and obsolete inventory from WIP locations as required.Prepare for, conduct, and assist in reconciliation of cycle counts.Maintain clean and safe work areas following company policies and industry best practices (5S).Must be able to work well with others, take direction and execute swiftly, be mindful of process improvement opportunities, and be able to problem solve.Identify, catalog, and report manufacturing delays, sources, and resolutions needed to Operations Supervisors and ManagersBased upon job duties, may need to work in various areas that may cause exposure to fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals (well below OSHA and ACGIH exposure guidelines), outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and/or be part of a hearing conservation program due to noise levels around certain equipment.Operate various equipment in support of daily operations. This includes but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, lift tables etc. to ensure safe hardware handling operations.Assist in the implementation of a robust materials management process that reflects best practices, to include material purchasing, handling, storage, control, and distribution of MRO inventory.Monitor the flow/velocity of jobs through the production line and partner with Production Control to ensure work completes on time to schedule.Aggressively enforce safe material handling practicesQualifications:High School Diploma, Accredited GED or equivalent vocational certifications or training2+ year of Inventory Control, Tool Crib, Material Handling and/or in Expediting Experience.Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and/or inventory control applications.Experience working with a cross functional team.Demonstrated understanding and can apply continuous improvement concepts.Ability to safely drive a forklift and perform acute work.Ability to lift 50lbs, unassisted.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.Strong computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel on occasion.Must be able to pass DBIDS background check. Role will be on a military installation.Desired:Excellent interpersonal and Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailKnowledge with welding consumables and tooling.Ability to handle multiple duties concurrently based on workload dispersion, program priorities and management and customer decisions.Knowledge of backflush and Kanban process.Experience with activities related to planning and/or scheduling.Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and/or inventory control applications.Forklift CertifiedJob Type: ContractPay: Up to $35.00 per hourSchedule:* 8 hour shiftWork Location: In personby Jobble
