Job Description Job Description Gensco has an immediate need for an HVAC Equipment Sales Representative to service new and established accounts in our Eastern Region serving the Ellensburg to Chelan, WA area! Position: HVAC Equipment Sales Representative - East Region Territory: Ellensburg to Chelan Summary Perform a broad range of responsibilities for commercial equipment sales, customer development, value engineering support, system design assistance and sales support responsibilities. Product lines include Trane, American Standard, Midea, and Ameristar. Sales Compensation Uncapped incentive plan—your earning potential is limitless! Company vehicle with gas card, cell phone, laptop, iPad, and comprehensive benefits package. Comprehensive training and support to help you succeed. A collaborative and positive work environment focused on individual and team success. Compensation: During initial 3-24 months in position, a salary guarantee of $65,000-$80,000 annually is provided based on work experience. Following this period, compensation transitions to an incentive-based plan with a $1,000 per month salary ($12,000 annually) with uncapped incentive pay, company vehicle (equipped with dashcam technology), gas card, and a comprehensive benefits package. Duties & Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service with a concierge attitude toward customers Sell commercial and industrial HVAC equipment to Commercial Equipment Customers Attain all individual Sales goals and improves market share in: Light Commercial Equipment Sales, “new account” sales, “new commercial product” sales, growth of existing commercial products, and marketing program/sales initiative performance Attend training sessions with customers and take an active role in helping those customers execute on resulting action plans Support Region Credit Manager in dealing with customer credit and collections issues. Education/Experience/Skills Bachelor’s degree or 4 years related experience preferred Related industry outside sales experience High level of proficiency in computer technology including Microsoft Office. Must be 21 years of age or older with a good driving history. All company vehicles are equipped with dual-facing dashcam technology to ensure safety of our Team and the public. Thinks creatively and identifies sales opportunities. Strong negotiation skills and presentation skills. Proactive, self-motivated. Positive approach toward challenging situations. Strong decision-making abilities: understand impact and implications of decisions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong people management and time management skills. Able to travel to multiple facilities as required and overnight(s) if necessary.
